Privacy Policy

Signed, Sealed, Elected is a game. It contains no advertising and no tracking, and it never collects your name, email, location or advertising identifier. From version 1.1 it sends a small amount of anonymous usage statistics so we can balance the game; you can switch that off.
Anonymous statistics
The game sends anonymous events to TelemetryDeck, an analytics service based in the EU: for example, that a career ended as Mayor after 30 months on Tense, that the introduction was finished, or that the store was opened. Numbers such as scores are sent as broad ranges. Your device is represented only by a salted, one-way hash that cannot be turned back into an identifier and is not shared with other apps. We use these statistics only to improve the game, never for advertising, and we do not sell them.
Turn them off at any time in the game: Settings › Share anonymous statistics. See also TelemetryDeck's privacy policy.
What stays on your device
Your current career, your career record, the Herald archive and your settings are saved on your iPhone. They are deleted when you delete the app.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the game sends your scores and achievements to Apple's Game Center so they appear on leaderboards. Apple processes this data under the Apple Privacy Policy. We can see leaderboards the same way any player can, nothing more. You can play without Game Center.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled entirely by the App Store. We never see your payment details; we only learn, through Apple, that a purchase exists so the game can unlock it.
Children
The game collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
